113th Annual Convention

The 113th Annual Meeting of the California Creamery Operators Association is scheduled for June 25 and 26, 2012 at Harrah's Lake Tahoe. Check-in will be around four o'clock on Sunday afternoon with the evening open for attending a dinner at Harrah's or elsewhere. Monday morning, June 25th will open with the annual meeting of the association, followed by the program of selected panel discussions and keynote speakers. In 2011 the programs included dairy policy, global markets and marketing, and new dairy regulations.  The luncheon at noon features honorary director and honorary membership presentations and a keynote speaker, At the 2011 meeting Karen Ross, California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary, was featured

Monday afternoon is reserved for board meetings and golfing. Monday evening features the President's Reception with individuals making their own dinner arrangements.

Tuesday morning topics focus on current issues for the California dairy industry. Tuesday afternoon will be the 33th Annual CCOA Invitational Golf Tournament at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course. That evening includes a no host cocktail hour followed by an outstanding buffet dinner. After dinner the golf awards are presented and the huge raffle takes place.

Program materials will be mailed to members in early May. Materials will include registration and golf forms, a tentative program and hotel reservation arrangements.
